2007 Annual Report

As the title of our 2007 Annual Report suggests, we are preparing students for success well beyond our classrooms. Students will graduate from our school system with confidence that they are more than adequately prepared for
college and their future educational journeys.

Our new “University Ready” compendium of online tools and resources signifies a ground-breaking initiative to engage students (prek-12) and parents in preparation for all aspects of the post-secondary education experience. I encourage you to take advantage of this pioneering investment in your future.

Other major initiatives featured throughout this report include our five-year strategic planning effort and 2008 facility and technology bond program study, both representing collaborative efforts to invest in future generations of school children and their families.

Distinguished achievements of our students, faculty, schools and district are also published throughout this report. They provide compelling evidence that the 100-year tradition of excellence, which is the hallmark of our school district, increases in diversity and significance with each passing school year.
