Family Services Schools
To better serve families in need, Plano ISD has launched a pilot program to assist three “Family Services Schools” - Jackson, Meadows and Sigler elementary schools – by allocating targeted resources for prescriptive family services. Students, parents and family members of these three schools are hosted by school faculty and staff members during evening meetings designed to provide information and instruction on such topics as English literacy, family nutrition, technology and community resources. The program’s goals are to welcome parents and families into the school community and determine priority needs to help students and families achieve optimal success. Families will find a new A-Z Community Resources Directory on Plano ISD's Web site.
