TBEC Honor Roll Schools - For the third consecutive year, Mathews and Skaggs elementary schools, Rice Middle School and Jasper High School have made the list of TBEC Honor Roll Schools. The Texas Business and Education Coalition (TBEC) identifies honor roll schools by analyzing three years of performance data for every public school in Texas.
Honor roll schools have a high percentage of students meeting state standards on every TAKS test for three consecutive years, and they have the highest percentage of students performing at the state’s most rigorous standard - commended - in every subject.

17th Consecutive SchoolMatch 'What Parents Want' Award
Each year that the award has been given (17 consecutive years), Plano ISD has received a “What Parents Want” award from SchoolMatch® of Columbus, Ohio, the nation’s largest school selection consulting firm. Only 16 percent of the nation’s 15,571 public school districts (2,529) have
been recognized for meeting the needs of families choosing schools through the consulting company.
