Description:
Update 78 addresses changes in the legal context that have arisen since the conclusion of the 79th regular legislative session.
An appropriate motion for board action on Localized Update 78 is as follows:
I move that the board add, revise, or delete (LOCAL) policies as recommended by TASB Policy Service and according to the Instruction sheet for TASB Localized Policy Manual Update 78.
This Update has been reviewed and approved by legal counsel.
A list of the policies is attached. The actual policies may be reviewed in the Superintendent's Office.
Recommendation:
Adopt (LOCAL) policies as presented on second reading and review updated (LEGAL) policies.
