Description:
This is a compliance bid that will establish approved vendors and pricing for the purchase of retrofit pollution controls for the District's older school buses. These pollution control devices are part of a statewide effort to improve air quality. This bid is not subject to renewal.
Transportation and Purchasing Services have reviewed the above-referenced bid. Staff recommends awarding the low bidder on both of the items that were bid.

Recommendation:
The administration recommends that this bid be awarded to the following:
Southwest International: Item #1
Cummins Southern Plains: Item #2
Business Impact:
The estimated annual value for this bid is $250,000.00 which will be paid from Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) Grant Money.
