Description:
Staff has determined that the District has a quantity of items that are either no longer serviceable, are obsolete, or have been replaced with new equipment.
Staff recommends that the items listed on the attached spreadsheet be sold through the Internet auction.
Instructional Technology has a total of 8,922 computer workstations that will be replaced and then sent to deployment. They will be used for the Computers @ Home Program. A list of the computers slated for replacement is attached and has been sorted by location.
Instructional Technology also has a Frame Straightener (EZ Liner, model 25, serial number TF05335) that is no longer used by the Auto Body Vocational program.
Surplus Action List is attached.
Recommendation:
The administration recommends that the specified property be declared surplus and be disposed of as allowed by law.
