Description:
The current interlocal agreement between the Plano Independent School District and Collin County for the use of district facilities, should a potential health threat arise, will expire the last day of May 2008. As a part of the county's ongoing Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) initiatives, this agreement allows the county to plan for and mitigate acts of bioterrorism and natural disease outbreaks, as well as train first responders and volunteers.
Recommendation:
The administration recommends approval of the interlocal agreement between the Plano Independent School District and Collin County as submitted.
