Description:

This is a compliance bid that will establish approved vendors and pricing for the purchase of general hardware for the District. This is the first year of a renewable bid.

Facility Services Bid Committee has reviewed the above-referenced bid. Fairway Supply provided a delivery price, but did not indicate a percent off catalog price. Staff recommends awarding to all bidders, except Fairway Supply.

Recommendation:

The administration recommends that this bid be awarded to the following: Clark Security Products, Hans Johnsen Company, Independent Hardware, Inc., J. A. Sexauer, Kimball Midwest, Lowe's Home Improvement, Midwest Technology Products, Mul-T-Lock USA, Inc., Simba Industries, and W. W. Grainger.

Business Impact:

Budgeted Carpentry Supply Account - $80,000.00.
