Description:
Bids for the following items were advertised, received, and opened by the Purchasing Services Department. The appropriate department has evaluated all bids and forwarded their recommendation to the Purchasing Services Department to be reviewed for compliance with Education Code 44.031 and School Board Policy.
This is a compliance bid that will establish approved vendors and pricing for the purchase of audio visual materials for all District locations for the school year 2006-2007. This bid is also the method used for collecting Sole Source information from these potential vendors. This is the first year of a renewable bid.
Library Media Staff has reviewed the bids and recommend that all vendors be awarded, with the exception of Schoolhouse Audio Visual. School House Audio Visual is an equipment supplier and does not offer media resources and software. Of the accepted companies, some offer a full line of media in various formats, while others carry only a small inventory of media. All have something that is appropriate for curricular and library support.
