Purpose: A - Request decision - closure required

Description:

First Southwest Asset Management, Inc. has performed a review of the District's investment policy, CDA Local. The District's policy is in conformity with the Texas Public Funds Investment Act (TPFIA). The revision to the policy eliminates any inconsistencies having to do with maturities. The TPFIA also requires an annual review of the broker/dealers used by the District for security purchases.

Recommendation:

The Administration recommends approval of CDA Local on second reading.
