Description:
Bids for the following items were advertised, received, and opened by the Purchasing Services Department. The appropriate department has evaluated all bids and forwarded their recommendation to Purchasing Services to be reviewed for compliance with Education Code Section 44.031 and School Board Policy.
This is a compliance bid that will establish an approved vendor and pricing for the purchase of tennis court repairs for the District. This is the first year of a renewable bid.
There were five responses to the bid. The two lowest responders were called to confirm their pricing. Both Hellas Construction and Q-Sports bid the cost of one tennis court. The bid requested pricing on the equivalent of four tennis courts. In evaluating the cost, Western Tennis Contractors was the overall low bidder. They have been a reliable vendor for Plano ISD in the past. The Athletic Department recommends that we award the bid to Western Tennis Contractors.

The Administration recommends that this bid be awarded to Western Tennis Contractors
