Description:
Bids for the following items were advertised, received and opened by the Purchasing Department. The appropriate department has evaluated all bids and forwarded their recommendation to the Purchasing Department to be reviewed for compliance with Educational Code 44.031 and School Board Policy.
This is a compliance bid for the purchase of welding services for all District locations. This is the first year of a renewable bid.
The Facility Services Bid Committee has reviewed this bid. Their recommendation is based on the sole bid submitted by Cox Welding Services. Cox Welding Services has supplied the District with excellent service in the past. The Bid Committee compared the sole bid with the pricing submitted on Lewisville ISD Bid #1677-04 and found the pricing to be very competitive. The Bid Committee recommends awarding to Cox Welding Services.
Recommendation:
The Administration recommends that the bid for the purchase of welding services be awarded to Cox Welding.

Estimated Value: $50,000.00.
