Description:

Science Capstone Overview of Research and Education (SCORE) in connection with University of Texas at Dallas and Texas Instruments will offer an exemplary science course for senior high school students to discuss the cutting edge in science disciplines and the exploration of science and engineering career opportunities. Students will interact directly with professors on a university campus using the research, facilities and libraries located on the university campus. Please see the attached innovative course application to be submitted to TEA before February 16, 2006 for approval.

Recommendation:

Approval of Science Capstone Overview for Research and Education (SCORE) as an innovative course

Business Impact:

Negotiations pending with TI regarding the costs associated with the course including teacher cost
