X. Senior Schedule - TAKS Testing

Purpose: A - Request decision - closure required

Time: 5 minutes

Description:

Request from the three senior high school principals permitting seniors to arrive late on February 21, April 21, 24 and 25, 2006. On these dates, the juniors will be involved in TAKS testing during the morning. The designated attendance time will be 12:30 p.m.

Recommendation:

Board approval.

Business Impact:

This adjustment will prevent the loss of state funding involving absences for 3300 twelfth-grade students.
