General Fund Adopted Budget with February 7, 2006 Amendments.
General Fund Actual Expenditures thru January 30, 2006.
Recommendation:
Staff recommends approval of these Budget Amendments.
Business Impact:
General Fund Balance negative impact of $ 1,701,370.00
Operating Fund - Fund 199:
Transfers between Functions have been requested to redistribute the budget to align specific amounts
To meet projected actual expenditures as requested by principals and department heads - No Budget Impact.
Budget Impact Items:
- $ 1,100,000 - Custodial Contract, Supplies and Equipment Buy-out to be amortized as a discount through the TGH/GCA contract over multiple years.
- $ 546,370 - Athletic Field Improvements (proceeds from sale of Rice Field in FY 2005).
This moves from Fund Balance the proceeds received last year to the appropriations necessary to fund the Clark Stadium sub-varsity and soccer field.

- $ 55,000 - Mid-Winter Sports Playoffs

Fund 164 - Dr Pepper Fund: Transfers between Functions to redistribute the budget to meet projected actual expenditures.

- Fund 397 - $ 14,730 - Advanced Placement/International Baccalaureate Teacher Training reimbursements
- Fund 469 - $ 8,000 - Siemens Westinghouse Completion in Math, Science & Technology award
- Fund 480 - $ 8,600 - Verizon donation for the Even Start program
- Fund 481 - $ 3,816 - Advanced Placement Strategies for Music Theory & AP Exams reimbursement
- Fund 489 - $ 2,591 - Recognize sale of SLP Curriculum to area school districts
