5. Cooperative Purchase - State of Texas Cooperative for Annual Microsoft Licenses

Description:
This purchase will provide the necessary licenses for District-wide Microsoft Software for the next twelve months. The Board approved the initial purchase of a three-year agreement last March. The original agreement was initiated using the Catalog Information Systems Vendor (CISV) offered by the State of Texas Cooperative. This will be the second year's purchase of software using this agreement. Educational Resources is the authorized vendor.
Recommendation:
The administration recommends the purchase of the annual Microsoft Licenses from Educational Resources.
Business Impact:
The value of this purchase is $961,152.69 which will be made with 2004 Bond Funds.
