Listed below are items to be purchased, purchasing method, and estimated expenditure for the 2006-07 school year. The selected purchasing methods are cooperative purchases through the Texas Association of School Boards, BuyBoard, Region X, Educational Purchasing Cooperative of North Texas (EPCNT) and Sole Source Vendor.

Discovery Education unitedstreaming provides thousands of searchable videos, images, and audio clips, for students K-12. This service is offered through Region X.

As part of the AVID Program being used by Student Services, training is being offered this summer. This purchase represents the registration fee for seventy-four staff members to attend the training session. AVID is a sole source vendor.

Stevens Learning System, Inc. will provide twenty-four student-station digital listening labs for all high school and senior high schools. This equipment is offered through the EPCNT Cooperative.

Virco has been a long time supplier of classroom furniture for the District. Current discounts through the BuyBoard offer the best value for these furniture purchases.

Educational Resources will provide the District's renewal of Microsoft School Agreement for Windows and Office.
