X. TASB Localized Policy Manual Update 77 - First Reading

Purpose: A - Request decision - closure required

Description:

This Localized Update represents the second of two updates arising from the 79th regular legislative session as well as recent TEA rule changes. An appropriate motion for Board action on Localized Update 77 is as follows: "I move that the Board add, revise, or delete (LOCAL) policies as recommended by TASB Policy Service and according to the Instruction sheet for TASB Localized Policy Manual Update 77." This Update has been reviewed and approved by legal counsel. A list of the policies is attached. The actual policies may be reviewed in the Superintendent's Office.

Recommendation:

Adopt (LOCAL) policies as presented on first reading and review updated (LEGAL) policies.
