Description:

This is a compliance bid that will establish approved vendors and pricing for the purchase of engines for diesel vehicles for the District. This is the first year of a renewable bid. Transportation and Purchasing Services have reviewed the above referenced bid. Staff recommends awarding to the lowest overall bidder which was Southwest International Trucks, Inc. For operating efficiency, it would not be in the best interest of the district to split the award for this bid. Tab sheet is attached.

Recommendation:

The Administration recommends that this bid be awarded to Southwest International, Trucks, Inc.

Business Impact:

Budgeted Transportation M & O Fund - $175,000
