Description:

This is a compliance bid that will establish approved vendors and pricing for the purchase of lamps and ballasts for the District. This is the first year of a renewable bid.

Facility Services and Purchasing Services have reviewed this bid. Staff recommends awarding the low bidder as the Primary Vendor and the next lowest as the Secondary Vendor. A price study was included in the bid specification to determine the lowest bidder on three specific bulbs per each lamp type (see questions #6, 7 & 8). Three vendors are recommended to be awarded as Secondary Vendors on Line Item #6. Tab sheet is attached.

Recommendation:

The Administration recommends that this bid be awarded to the following:

Elliott Electric Supply Item #1 - Secondary Vendor
Item #5 - Secondary Vendor
Item #6 - Secondary Vendor

Rexel Summers Item #2 - Secondary Vendor
