Description:
This is a compliance bid that will establish approved vendors and pricing for the purchase of lamps and ballasts for the District. This is the first year of a renewable bid.
Facility Services and Purchasing Services have reviewed this bid. Staff recommends awarding the low bidder as the Primary Vendor and the next lowest as the Secondary Vendor. A price study was included in the bid specification to determine the lowest bidder on three specific bulbs per each lamp type (see questions #6, 7 & 8). Three vendors are recommended to be awarded as Secondary Vendors on Line Item #6.
