h. Tuition increase for eSchool courses

Description:

Plano ISD eSchool tuition has been static for the last two years. We have worked to keep the cost of the program as competitive as possible with other online programs and options available to students and parents. The following tuition structure is recommended to offset increasing expenses as our program expands. If approved these new rates will be effective for Fall 2006 registration

Recommendation:

Tuition increases are recommended as follows:
- Plano ISD courses that require the student to purchase a textbook: From: $220 to $230
- Plano ISD courses that do not require the purchase of a textbook: From: $250 to $260
- All class.com courses: From $295 to $300

Business Impact:

Positive impact; increased revenue.
