Description:

This is a compliance bid that will establish approved vendors and pricing for the purchase of musical instruments for the school year 2006-2007. This is the first year of a renewable bid. Staff has reviewed this bid and recommends the acceptance of low bid on all items with the following exceptions: Item 50-64, 68-70, 72, 77-78, 99-101, 147, 152, 155, 157, 238-239, 241-243, 246-248, 250-261, 264-266, 268, 272-277, 279, 280-293, and 297. Detailed justifications are attached for those exceptions.

Recommendation:

The Administration recommends that this bid be awarded to various vendors as shown on attached document.

Estimated Value: $350,000.00. Budget/Financial Implication: Operating and Bond Funds. Evaluation Criteria: Purchase Price; Quality of Goods; Best Meets the Needs of the District.
