l. Extension of Custodial Services Agreement

Description:

The Administration would like to extend the current Custodial Services Agreement with GCA Services Group of Texas, LP, for two years. It is the desire of GCA and the Plano ISD to extend the contract to ensure continuity and provide GCA the assurance they can continue to place resources in the District. This would give GCA a rolling five-year agreement at a locked-in price, which is tied to the consumer price index. This contract is facilitated by GCA being a member of the Buy Board. Beginning January 1, 2011, the District would contract for services at the lesser of the current Buy Board prices or the current price adjusted by the consumer price index. Contract available for viewing in the Superintendent's office.

Recommendation:

The Administration recommends that the Contract for Custodial Services with GCA Services Group of Texas, LP, be extended through 2012.
