Description:
This is a compliance bid for the purchase of concrete service work for all District locations. Each individual project will be less than $25,000.00. This is the first year of a renewable bid.
The Facility Services Bid Committee has reviewed this bid and recommended both bidders be awarded. The Committee considered the quality of the services provided by both vendors on previous projects. Both vendors will accept a split award. The Committee recommends GT Construction as the Primary Vendor for all sections except Section I, Item 12. SFCC is recommended as the Primary Vendor for Section I, Item 12 and as the Secondary Vendor for all other sections.
Recommendation:
The Administration recommends that the bid for the purchase of Concrete Service Work be awarded to:
GT Construction- Primary Vendor Section I, Items 1-11, 13, 14 & 16; Section II, Items 1-12.
SFCC - Secondary Vendor Section I, Items 1-11, 13, 14 & 16; Section II, Item 10 - 12; Primary Vendor Section I, Item 12
No Bid - Section I, Item 15
