Description:

This is a compliance bid that will establish approved vendors and pricing for the purchase of custom printing projects for Communications. This is the first year of a renewable bid.

Communications and Purchasing Services have reviewed the above-referenced bid. Staff recommends awarding the low bidder on all items with the exception of Item 5. Justification for this item exception is included in the tabulation sheet. Low bidder for both items 1 and 2 is Endless Business Solutions but it has not yet been determined which quantity will be needed. Item 3 and Item 4 were both for English Policy Guides. Staff recommends accepting the low bid for Item 4 and rejecting Item 3. Tab sheet is attached.

Recommendation:

The administration recommends that this bid be awarded to the following:

Endless Business Solutions - Items 1, 2, 5
Dallas Offset, Inc. - Item 4
Thompson's Quick Print - Item 6
No Award Item 3

Business Impact:

Communications Operating Budget-$100,000.00
