Description:
Each recommended method meets the criteria set forth in the Educational Code Section 44.031, 44.035, 44.038, and 44.039.
Listed below are two items to be purchase for the 2006-07 school year involving the partnership with SAS Business Intelligent Tools. These are sole source technology products, previously used in the District.
SAS for Technology:
Software Applications - Financial Management
System and Human Resource Capital System - Sole Source Purchase Method - Estimated Amount - $168,998
SAS for Technology - Professional Services
for development of SAS Software - Sole Source Purchase Method - Estimated Amount - $120,000
Recommendation:
The Administration recommends that the District purchase the software listed above from SAS Institute Inc.
