3. Water line extension for Clark Stadium
Presenter: Richard Matkin
Purpose: A - Request decision - closure required
Time: No time limit
Description:
The existing water line serving Clark Stadium and the Athletic Office is the end of a dead-end service. The City requested this line be extended to Seabrook Drive to complete a loop. This was discussed when the Athletic Office was constructed, but now that work is to be done on Clark Stadium, this will need to be completed. The work is to be done through the vendor currently on-bid. By completing this in advance of the Press box work, the correct water pressures can be utilized in developing the fire protection system for the remodeled Press box. The vendor has committed to having the line installed and paving replaced prior to the first game at the Stadium. The line is not required to be in service by the first game.
The vendor on-bid for this work is 4L Engineering, Inc. Paving repairs will be completed by a separate vendor that is also currently on bid.
