Description:
Bids for the following items were advertised, received, and opened by the Purchasing Services Department. The appropriate department has evaluated all bids and forwarded their recommendation to Purchasing Services to be reviewed for compliance with Education Code Section 44.031 and School Board Policy.
This is a compliance bid for the purchase of maps and globes for all District locations. This is the first year of a renewable bid.
Staff has reviewed this bid and recommends the acceptance of low bid on all items with exceptions. The detailed justifications are provided for those exceptions. It is the intent of this bid to provide access to a variety of products for particular curricular purposes. Therefore, a similar product from two different companies may be specified in two different items because they may be for different grade levels or for different curricular purposes.
