Description:
Bids for the following items were advertised, received, and opened by the Purchasing Services Department. The appropriate department has evaluated all bids and forwarded their recommendation to Purchasing Services to be reviewed for compliance with Educational Code 44.031 and School Board Policy.
This is a compliance bid that will establish a vendor and the monthly fee for the monitoring of intrusion and fire alarm systems for all District locations. This is the first year of a renewable bid.
Security Systems Staff has reviewed this bid. The Staff recommendation was based on the lowest long-term price and the vendor's past relationship with the District. H-Com International has provided security service work for the District for six years and submitted the lowest monitoring cost. Staff was satisfied with H-Com International's past performance with the District and recommended they be awarded the bid.

The Administration recommends that the bid for the purchase of Intrusion and Fire Alarm System Monitoring be awarded to H-Com International.
