Description:

The District has reached an agreement with Catellus Land and Development Corporation to purchase a tract of land located between Northstar Road, Plano Parkway and Bradshaw Road, in the City of Plano. The property would be a future location for a middle school site.

Recommendation:

The Administration recommends the approval of a real estate sales contract between Plano ISD (Purchaser) and Catellus Land and Development Corporation (Seller) for the purchase of approximately 23.0 acres of land subject to the receipt and review of a survey and an environmental assessment. The Superintendent or his Designee is authorized to close on the property after all terms and conditions set forth in the contract have been fulfilled.
