Description:
Texas Government Code, Section 2256.008(a), requires chief financial officer and investment officer of a local government to attend an investment training session not less than once in a two-year period and receive not less than ten hours of instruction relating to investment responsibilities from an independent source approved by the governing body of the local government.
The attached resolution establishes TASBO, Texas Association of School Business Officials, Region X Education Service Center, and the University of North Texas as providers of investment training relating to investment responsibilities.
Recommendation:
The Administration recommends the attached Resolution be adopted in support of Investment Training.
