Purpose: A - Request decision - closure required

Description:

An appropriate motion for board action on Localized Update 81 is as follows: I move that the board add, revise, or delete (LOCAL) policies as recommended by TASB Policy Service and according to the Instruction sheet for TASB Localized Policy Manual Update 81 with revisions to DGBA(LOCAL) and FFH(LOCAL). FFH(EXHIBIT) and FFH(REGULATION) have also been presented for review only.

This Update has been reviewed and approved by legal counsel.

A list of the policies is attached. The actual policies may be reviewed in the Superintendent's Office.

Recommendation:

Adopt (LOCAL) policies as presented on first reading and review updated (LEGAL) policies.
