Business Impact:

Federal Special Education Grant Funds for 2006-2007 - Total: $8,704,676

ADDITIONAL GRANT: IDEA B Discretionary funds, High Cost Funds (Rider55) $498,534
Most of the funds were generated by students in the Regional Day School Program for the Deaf, so approximately $400,000 will be added to the deaf education budget, and the remaining funds will be added to the special education budget.
