Description:

Revise the student code of conduct to clarify that placing a student determined to be a member of, pledges to become a member of, or solicits another person to join or pledge a public school fraternity, sorority, secret society, or gang in a DAEP is at the campus discretion and not mandatory. This is consistent with current district practice and in accordance with guidelines from TASB.

Recommendation:

Approve revised code of conduct.
