Description:
Proposals for the following items were advertised, received, and opened by the Purchasing Services Department. The appropriate department has evaluated all proposals and forwarded their recommendation to Purchasing Services to be reviewed for compliance with Education Code Section 44.031 and School Board Policy.
This is a one time proposal for the purchase and installation of an in-ground hydraulic lift for the District's Transportation Department. Wellsco Enterprises, Inc. was the only proposer to respond.
Specifications were developed for the selection of a lift system that would provide maximum safety for Motor Pool Staff, efficiently lift school buses for service, and be environmentally safe. Several manufacturers of lift equipment were contacted, but only Wellsco Enterprises, Inc. submitted a proposal.
The Wellsco equipment meets all of the requirements set forth the in the specification.
Recommendation:
The Administration recommends that this proposal be awarded to Wellsco Enterprises, Inc.

Estimated Value: $110,020.00.
Budget/Financial Implication: 2004 Bond Funds.
