Description:
This is a compliance bid that will establish approved vendors and pricing for the purchase of HVAC filters for the District. This is the first year of a renewable bid.
The Facility Services Bid Committee has reviewed this bid. The Committee recommends awarding to the lowest responsive vendor. JF Filtration Inc. was low bidder with an alternate bid; however, the alternate filter did not meet the bid specification. The District's HVAC filters are changed four times per year. The committee evaluated the bid based on quarterly usage. Based on the quarterly usage, by type of filter, Tex Air Filters provided the lowest responsive bid.
Recommendation:
The Administration recommends that the bid for the purchase of HVAC filters be awarded to Tex Air Filters.

Estimated Value: $140,000.00.
