School Based Improvement Plans
Plano ISD has long been recognized as a visionary school district.
We believe that it takes a combination of well-trained staff and
supportive parents and business and civic leaders to create a strong
education program. School Based Improvement Committees at each of
our campuses has adopted a long-range plan to ensure continued improvement
in student achievement.
Campus reports are available on each school information page located

School Based Improvement Committees (SBIC)
Hundreds of Plano ISD parents, teachers, business and civic leaders
serve on School Based Improvement Committees (SBIC) on each of the
district's campuses. Committees include representatives from the business
community who work with teachers and parents and other community members
analyzing student test data and developing goals which will positively
affect student achievement.
For more information
about the SBIC process, visit our Advisory
Committee site, contact your school principal
or call the Plano ISD Communications Office at (469)
