About the Foundation
The Plano ISD Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Its mission is helping all students in Plano public schools achieve their full
potential by providing financial support to educators and academic
programs. The Foundation generates private support for priority projects identified by the Plano Independent School District for which tax dollars are not available. All contributions stay in Plano ISD and are tax-deductible to the extent provided by law.
The Board of Directors consists of business and community leaders who recognize the importance of excellent public schools to the Plano community. Support generated by the Plano ISD Education Foundation ensures Plano ISD remains one of the best public school districts in the nation.
The Plano ISD Education Foundation was organized in 1993. Since 2000 almost $7 million has been gifted to Plano ISD for programs and services of importance to the school district. For additional information or to make a donation, email email@example.com or call (469) 752-8272.
"60 Million Reasons to Give" Campaign Continues
The "60 Million Reasons to Give" Campaign focuses on district needs for which tax dollars are not
available. Enrichment programs such as additional mathematics, science and
technology instruction, educator grants, fifth grade camp scholarships, programs
to fill achievement gaps and many others will be sustained by these funds.
raised more than $100,000 through donations in the "$60 Million Reasons to Give" campaign this past year. Supporters who gave $100 or more receive an "I love Plano ISD" yard sign for their contribution.
Each year, the
Foundation is tasked to raise more than $1 million through community, employee and corporate support. All donations stay within the district.
