We Invest in Our Teachers
Plano
ISD is committed to hiring
and maintaining the highest level of instructors for students.
We offer our employees competitive salaries and the following excellent
benefits and incentives.
Teacher Mentor Program: We support
first year teachers with the guidance and expertise of an established
PISD instructor.
Bilingual Stipends: We award $3,000 stipends for
certified bilingual teachers teaching in a bilingual class. Stipends
of $1,500 are offered for those teaching in a bilingual class without
bilingual certification.
Master's Degree Program: The district
sponsors and pays for a master's degree in your certification area.
401(a) Retirement Savings: This plan is automatically
established for each classroom teacher with a $500 contribution
each year.
Application Process
Applying for a teaching position with Plano ISD is a two part process:
1. Completing the TeacherInsight Interview
2. Completing the online employment application
Only files that have both the completed Teacher Insight Interview and online employment application can be considered for interviews by principals.
