Plano
ISD is committed to hiring
and maintaining the highest level of instructors for students.
We offer our employees competitive salaries and the following excellent
benefits and incentives.
Teacher Mentor Program: We support
first year teachers with the guidance and expertise of an established
PISD instructor.
Bilingual Stipends: We award $3,000 stipends for
certified bilingual teachers teaching in a bilingual class. Stipends
of $1,500 are offered for those teaching in a bilingual class without
bilingual certification.
Application Process
Plano ISD offers an online employment application process using the TEAMS software. It will track your application and alert you via e-mail regarding your application status. You will be able to update your account using a password-protected login process. Select the link below to apply.

Professional Applicants
During the application process, you may be directed to complete the Gallup TeacherInsight™ before your application can be submitted. With the introduction of the new TeacherInsight™ 2.0, all applicants who have previously taken the TeacherInsight™ will be required to take the new assessment instrument.
- You will need to reserve at least 45 minutes to take this multiple choice and free response instrument; there are no right or wrong answers.
- If you have completed the TeacherInsight™ 2.0 for another entity, you will receive instructions directly from Gallup to transfer your TeacherInsight™ assessment.
- After completing the TeacherInsight™, you will need to revisit the Plano ISD application to complete and submit.
