Becoming a Plano ISD Employee

The forms below can be completed prior to your new hire meeting:

I-9 List of Acceptable DocumentsPDF file - An I-9 form will be completed at your new hire meeting. Please ensure you have the proper identification necessary to complete the form. Failure to submit acceptable identification documents for the I-9 form will delay the hiring process.

W-4PDF file - Complete the lower portion of the form and include the total number of allowances you are claiming. Do not cut the form.

Social Security FormPDF file - Employee ID# is your social security number.

HR Policy Guide Acknowledgment PDF file- Review and sign form.

Authorization Agreement for Automatic Deposit PDF file- Please leave the employee ID section blank if you are new to PISD. Direct deposit is mandatory and a voided check or account information must be provided for each account. If you prefer not to use a bank account, a cash pay card will be required. This form will be available at your new hire meeting.

Substitute Resignation FormPDF file - Complete if you are an active substitute for Plano ISD and are being employed in a full-time position.

All teachers, coaches, librarians, SLP’s, regional day school instructors, diagnosticians, and intervention specialists must attend Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS) orientation. Plano ISD requires all teachers to attend T-TESS which is the state's approved instrument for appraising teachers.

Service Records

For new employees with previous school district experience: If credit is given for experience, please request that your last Texas public school employer send your original service record to your mailing address. If your last employment was in an out-of-state school, or private school, we will provide the forms for you at your new hire meeting to send to those schools.
