Effective January 11th, 2016, we are no longer processing substitute applications for the 2015-2016 school year.
If you would like to be considered as a substitute for the 2016 - 2017 school year, you may submit or update your current substitute application after July 1, 2016 at https://oea.pisd.edu/submission/. You will need to have at least 2 professional references with accurate email addresses listed in your online application. We strongly recommend you contact your references and notify them they will be receiving electronic reference requests. If you are applying for a substitute teaching role, you will also be required to complete the TeacherInsight™ Survey.
We are grateful to have an abundance of substitute applicants; please understand with the high volume of interest, not all applicants will be selected.
Please note: In mid-July, we will begin the selection process for new PISD substitutes. Selection of substitutes is based on a review of your application and the current needs of our district. Preference may be given to applicants who hold a valid Texas teaching certificate. If you are selected, you will be contacted by a human resources representative via email. It is important that your online application lists an active, current email address.
Current/Former PISD Employees: Please send an email stating your interest in substituting during the upcoming school year to email@example.com. In your email, please indicate your status as a (former) employee. You will need to create a new user profile in TEAMS.

Applicants interested in becoming a substitute nurse must be licensed and selected by the PISD Coordinator of District Health. Resumes for substitute nurse positions may be sent to Megan.Schuler@pisd.edu. We appreciate your interest in substituting for Plano ISD.
