		Holiday Helping Hands Our 53,000 students and 7,000 employees in 70 schools and service facilities have been busy this holiday season shopping, preparing and delivering thousands of food items and gifts for North Texas families in need. View reports and photos on our website.

Other News

		MLK Tribute Planned in January "A Symphony of Brotherhood" tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., will include Plano ISD's January 19 evening celebration, featuring numerous student performances. Also planned are a downtown parade, breakfast and youth leadership forum.

		PISD/CCCC Concurrent Enrollment Juniors and seniors will be able to receive high school and college credit through a new Plano ISD/Collin County Community College Concurrent Enrollment Program to begin Fall 2006. Information will be available at all high schools in January.

		Spring 2006 Parenting Classes Plano's Practical Parent Education Spring 2006 Schedule of Classes is available online. For expert advice on parenting in today's complex society, sign up for one or more of these effective courses.

		Standardized Dress Report Principals at three Plano ISD elementary schools have shared with our school board and faculty council about how new standardized dress programs have been received at their campuses.

		Inclement Weather Guidelines During this winter season, don't be "left out in the cold." Refer to our website for inclement weather guidelines and school closure information.
