Spirit of Community Award Distinguished Finalists.
Kyle has successfully rallied his peers to value community
service through his organization "Plano Youth

Among 'Elite 8' Headed to State
Plano East Senior High
Theatre has advanced to the State UIL One-Act Play
Contest with "The Marriage of Bette and Boo." The
troupe won the area and regional events and is now
among eight state contenders who will compete on May
6 at UT Austin.

Advisory Committee Breakfast on April 20, Superintendent
of Schools Dr. Doug Otto commended the work of council
members and
updated
them on his priorities for the Texas Legislature's
Special Session on School Finance.

30 - East 25th Anniversary Event
The community is invited
to Plano East Senior High School’s 25th Anniversary
celebration to be held on Sunday, April 30. Former
Principal Archie McAfee will be the keynote speaker
at the event, which will include recognition of current
and former students, parents, teachers and staff, a
reception, school tours and concluding pep rally by
the pond.

eSchool
- Online Course Registration
Students in grades 9-12
may enroll in Plano ISD's eSchool program
of online courses. For five years, eSchool has offered
thousands of students in Plano and across the world
with online options to graduate at an accelerated pace,
as a solution to scheduling difficulties on their home
campus, or because they need to recover credits for
graduation.
