Principals Appointed
Susan Dantzler (pictured), current Miller Elementary School
principal, will open the new Schell Elementary School in
fall, 2007. Superintendent Dr. Doug Otto announced four
new principal appointments to be effective January 3, 2007.  |

Schell Family Honored
The Plano ISD Board of Trustees honored
the family of A.R. Schell, Jr. - namesake of the district's
newest elementary school to open fall, 2007, east of
Central Expressway at Renner and Brand Roads.

Closing
the Achievement
Gap
Tonya Horton, former Bowman Middle School principal,
is one of three newly-appointed "student achievement
specialists" who are working with area assistant
superintendents, principals, teachers and district
staff to help close the achievement gap.
