Professional Development Day
Plano ISD will observe a student holiday on Monday, February
19, while teachers participate in professional development
training across the district.

The Plano ISD Education Foundation raised a record $160,000
at its annual Ski Plano fundraising event. Proceeds benefit
programs and grants for Plano ISD students and teachers. Event

20-23: TAKS Testing
Students in grades 3-5, 7, 9-10 and Exit Level will
take state-mandated TAKS tests February 20-23. Plano
counselors share tips for helping students relieve
test anxiety and prepare well for test-taking days.

20, at the Sockwell Center. The board is scheduled

for the Employee Childcare Program/Early
Childhood Schools expansion project,
Resolve and amend the Dr Pepper contract
Hear reports about and discuss two items: federal
and state accountability standards
and professional development programs.
