All Plano ISD students will take home state-mandated "School
Report Cards" soon. The report outlines the
school's student performance, expenditures, class
sizes and
student/teacher ratios. A more complete report about
your child's school, the Academic Excellence Indicator
System (AEIS) report, is available from each school
or can
be accessed online from the Texas
Education Agency.

Decathlon Champions
For the fourth consecutive year, Plano Senior High School's Academic
Decathlon Team has captured the regional championship.
Plano East placed
first in the Super Quiz event and ranked second overall.
Students
from all three senior high schools earned more than 100 individual
and team medals.
School counselors reported to school trustees this week
several programs assisting students (prek-12) with college
readiness and career planning.

Leadership Rewarded
Plano ISD's Diversity Advocacy Committee recently
presented leadership awards to groups and individuals
who foster understanding among people of different
