to Welcome 1,000 Applicants
Plano ISD administrators from every school will
be available to meet
with the approximately 1,000 applicants who will
attend the school district's Teacher Recruitment Open
House on Saturday, March 17. Applicant interviews, curriculum
demonstrations, student performances and bus tours will highlight
the annual event.

Hall Meeting
on AVID College
Readiness Program
The Plano ISD Board of Trustees
invites the community to
a town hall meeting to be held from 7:00 to 8:30
p.m. on Monday, March 26, at Williams High School,
1717
17th Street. Mark Allen, student services
director, will provide an overview of the district’s
AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) program,
which prepares middle and high school students for
college.

& Kindergarten Registration
Plano ISD’s youngest learners will pre-enroll
this month for 2007-08 in our school district's
award-winning early childhood and kindergarten programs.

in 2007 Education

campaign - "Giving from the Heart" - in
support of the Plano ISD Education Foundation's
programs for students
and staff. He proudly reports
that school district employees donated
nearly $100,000 to benefit the
