30th Anniversary Celebration
On Sunday, April 22, Plano ISD will celebrate the 30th anniversary
of the Holifield Science Learning
Center. A program, reception and tours will highlight
the event.

Presidents Honored at Luncheon
Plano ISD's PTA presidents and school principals
were honored guests at a luncheon hosted by
Dr. Doug Otto, superintendent of schools, and the
Plano ISD Council
of PTAs. Guest speakers were 2006 Teachers
of the
Year
Susan Geddes and Michael Abney.

24 School Board Candidate Forum
Plano
ISD Key Communicators and Plano ISD Council of
PTAs will host a school board candidate forum from
7:00 to 8:30 p.m. on April
24. The forum is open to the public and will feature
four candidates who are running for three places
on the school board.

23 Work Session- Trustees
will conduct a work session at 6:00 p.m. on April
23 at the Sockwell Center to discuss 2007-08 budget
items by departments, academic initiatives and debt
service.

20 Agenda - Trustees
approved several consent agenda items and policies
and heard reports about:
