New Student Registration Underway

Calling all new students! Registration is underway for students new to Plano ISD. Dates remaining are July 24, 25 & 26 (grades 6-8) and July 27 & 28 (grades k-5). Early childhood schools (prek) and senior high schools (grades 11 & 12) will register students by appointment. Find school phone numbers online.

Class Schedule Pickup July 31 & August 1

Secondary students can pick up their class schedules on July 31 (grades 6, 7, 10, 12) and August 1 (grades 8, 9, 11). View the schedule on our Web site.

School Supplies & Dress Code

A list of school supplies for elementary students can be found on our district Web site. Secondary students (grades 6-12) will receive information about school supplies from teachers the first week of school.

Safety Tips for Choosing Backpacks - More school-age children are suffering injuries caused by heavy, ill-fitting backpacks. Parents should be aware of these important safety tips.

The School Supply Project provides new backpacks and school supplies to area children in need. Contact Assistance Center of Collin County (972-422-1850 or 800-725-4936) or your child's school for information.

Shoes, Socks, Smiles & Shots

On Saturday, July 29, nine Plano churches will distribute shoes, socks, a toothbrush and toothpaste to needy Plano ISD children at McCall Elementary School, 6601 Cloverhaven Way. To qualify, call the Assistance Center of Collin County at (972) 422-1850 between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. weekdays through July 28.

Free Immunizations - Also at McCall on July 29 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m . will be the Blue Cross Dallas Care Van to serve children up to age 18. There is no cost for this service, and no prior clearance is required. The parent/guardian must be present with the child’s immunization record or a school letter. Back-to-School Open Houses
